In addition, the renovation, reuse and conversion of vacant or in use building stock for socio-cultural facilities and facilities is anchored as a measure in the area of ​​settlement structure. Accordingly, the conditions of use of various existing village community and youth centers, club facilities and sacred buildings could be improved or these could be created as new facilities (37). A large number of publicly accessible rest areas, sports and playgrounds as well as open spaces and green areas have already been built or redesigned with LEADER funding (34). In this case, it is primarily the city and municipal administrations of the municipalities in the LEADER region which, as the developer, submitted the funding application.
